MPSC Stenographers Examination
Eligibility :
Academic :
Educational : SSC
Technical : English
* Typewriting Speed 40 wpm.
* Marathi Typewriting Speed 40 wpm
* Shorthand (Hr. Grade) Speed 120 wpm.
* Shorthand (Lower Grade) Speed 100 wpm.
* Shorthand (Steno-typist) Speed 80 wpm.
Age : 18-30 years
Plan of Examination :
Only typing/shorthand speed test.
No written test. Those who qualify are called for Interview.
Beside the above mentioned the commission also conducts the following -
Appointments to posts under The Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai carrying a minimum monthly basic salary of Rs.3, 930/ or more and;
The Mumbai Electric Supply and Transport undertakings regarding appointments to posts in Grade - A - II.
To hold departmental examinations for certain Government Departments for employees of their departments and advice government regarding other matters pertaining to the examinations.
